Philanthropy and Service

Service is an important pillar to our sisterhood. Every semester, our sisters give back to the community by donating to individual philanthropies of our choosing and by completing community service hours.

Ag in the Classroom

Agriculture in the Classroom is our national philanthropy and service project. Our goal is to create agricultural literacy within the nation's youth. By volunteering in classrooms and creating informational booths at events, we work towards this goal of awareness, knowledge, and appreciation of agriculture by our population.

UDance

UDance is the largest student-run philanthropy at the University of Delaware. We work in conjunction with the Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation to create awareness about childhood cancer and to raise money for research projects and cancer families in need. Our year-long fundraising efforts culminate in a 12 hour dance marathon, which is to be held on March 12, 2017 this year. The sisters of Sigma Alpha dance for our B+ Hero Maci!
